#2 Who is Mr. O?

 

This won’t come as a surprise to everyone who knows me but I can’t stand America.

I shan’t get into details and won’t even mention the reasons for this. What I want to share with you, my dear reader(s) is that the feeling of disgust fills me at most before, during and after the circus called the presidential elections. At this time, almost everyone (and especially the media) all round the fucking globe seems to be obsessed with yankees preparing to vote, voting or counting the votes. People get so carried away that they forget that it is THEIR president they are choosing, neither ours nor some tribe’s in Africa. It might surprise a few souls, but we have no say in it. I don’t see a point in reporting on every minute of the campaign. I don’t want to hear that Mr. O farted and Mr. McC picked his nose. I don’t give a shit.

Some will argue that the president of the USA is one of the most important people in the world (some would even say he is THE most important person in the world). So fucking what? Show us the outcome, show us who won. All other information is simply irrelevant and useless.

For the last several months it was impossible to escape this circus. News every day, newspapers, magazines, the internet, conversations amongst people, books. All because some nation across the Atlantic was choosing president. But it’s gone too far, it’s become pathetic.

And what about this claim that Obama is black? His father might have been black but, unless the fact that he had a mother is forgotten, his other parent was white. To claim that you one can only be white is there are no traces of black genes and if there are then a person is considered black (even if the proportion is half-half) is fucking racist. He is neither black nor white. Ever heard of mixed race people? That’s what he is.

Then comes the most annoying phenomenon: the fact that stupid Europeans always want to imitate Americans. ‘Could we have a black PM?’ ‘Is our country ready for a black president?’ and so on. What?! Who fucking cares what skin colour is your PM, president or even the queen? As long as they do a good job, for me they could even be albino, green or blue.
