About me

I was born in the 80s to a Polish-Kashubian family in what was then People's Republic of Poland. I grew up in a town called Bytów in the north of the country not far from the Baltic Sea, after Liceum I moved to England where I lived for several months working and learning the language. While there, I applied to a university in Glasgow (more out of curiousity to see if I'd be accepted than anything else) and it turned out that I was accepted and started my course in Czech and Italian in 2006. I lived in Glasgow until July 2010 and moved back to Bytów for a few months just to continue my wandering and to move first to Norway and then to the Netherlands.

I love travelling and enjoy taking pictures, which make a good combination. Unfortunately, I don't get to travel as often as I'd like and my photography skills are still, well, not perfect. My other hobby is linguistics and learning foreign languages which come in handy in my travels.
